Professor Matthew Menking. I currently live in Inverness, Scotland with my wife Christy and our two children, Ava and Andrew. I am a former infantry officer in the U.S. Army, having served 8 years as an enlisted soldier followed by 7 years as a commissioned officer. I now do real estate property management for the greater family business, which includes charitable work and retreats for Catholic formation and evangelization in the Diocese of Aberdeen, Scotland. We are originally from the Dallas, TX area.
My undergraduate degree is in Real Estate, and I also have a Master of Arts in Theology (concentration Dogmatic Theology) from Holy Apostles College and Seminary. I am nearing the completion of my MA in Philosophy from Holy Apostles as well.
My wife and I are very into our faith, family, and fitness. We try to incorporate each of these aspects of our lives into the others at all times. Continuing education helps one integrate one’s entire life into a unified whole. I hope to share that experience with each of you. The acquisition of knowledge should always result in a change in how life is lived. We must learn the truth, accept it, and then bring our lives into conformity with that truth.
