Holy Apostles College & Seminary

Our Region

In the Heart of New England
The campus is located in easy driving distance for a day trip to either New York City in one direction or Boston in the other.  Cultural activities happen throughout many areas of the state.  Hartford, New Haven, Mystic and Bridgeport all provide great shopping, theater, various eateries and scenic and historic places of interest.

Weather patterns vary throughout the New England region. The Northern States of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine enjoy mild summers with cold winters. Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island have warm-to-hot summers and cold winters.

Fall in New England brings bright, colorful foliage, enjoyed by many tourists. Springs are generally wet and cloudy. Average rainfall ranges from 40 to 60 inches a year and snowfall can often exceed 98 inches annually. As a result, the mountains and ski resorts of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont are popular for winter sport enthusiasts.

Cromwell, Connecticut
The town of Cromwell, a crossroads town of CT – where Interstate 91 and Route 9 intersect – has become a booming center of commerce. With four hotels, numerous eateries and shopping establishments, retail and service industries are the backbone of the town economy. The Tournament Players Club at River Highlands, located roughly one mile from campus, has placed Cromwell on the national map as an annual PGA tour stop.
