BORROWING PRIVILEGES All faculty, registered students, and staff may borrow library materials. Library borrowing cards are available for all eligible patrons and can be applied for at the Library Circulation desk. All patrons must show a valid HACS Library card or campus id card to borrow materials from the Library. INTERLIBRARY LOAN POLICYHoly Apostles College and Seminary Library participates in the interlibrary lending program with Connecticut College, Trinity College, and Wesleyan University. We also participate in the interlibrary lending program of the Connecticut Library Network through its ReQuest System. Through both programs, we are able to borrow materials from other libraries for our faculty, students, and staff. We also loan our materials to other libraries. All requests for interlibrary loans are to be addressed to the Library Director. COMPUTER CLASSROOM The Computer Classroom is open for general use during the normal working hours of the Library. This room will be closed to general use during Library and Faculty instruction classes and scheduled maintenance. All students, faculty, and staff will be assigned a Websense password for access to the Intern. All Holy Apostles College and Seminary Library computer equipment and access accounts are to be utilized for authorized academic and administrative purposes only. Individuals not acting in compliance with these regulations risk loss of computer privileges. (Read more about the (Holy Apostles Computer Classroom Use Policy) PHOTOCOPY AND SCANNER MACHINE A photocopy and scanner machine is located in the Library for patron use. This machine accepts coins and dollar bills. Copies are to be made in compliance with U.S. Copyright Law. The copyright notice is posted by the photocopy machine. Any questions concerning copyright are to be addressed to the Library Director. |
