Alumni Priest Reunion: October 14 & 15, 2008

Holy Apostles Seminary Welcomes Back        Alumni Priests 

On October 14th and 15th, alumni priests attended a reunion on the campus of Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell. More than 20 alumni priests, active in dioceses throughout the United States and Canada, "came home" to Holy Apostles for the event. The Very Rev. Douglas L. Mosey, C.S.B., Rector of the Seminary and President of the College, presented the alumni with a stirring "State of the Seminary" address.

Fr. Mosey stated: "The Seminary at Holy Apostles is filled to capacity. Currently, there are a total of 82 seminarians preparing for the priesthood. Twelve seminarians are from the dioceses of Connecticut, including 8 from the Hartford Diocese."

During the two day event, the alumni met with current seminarians and faculty to share past and current experiences at Holy Apostles and to celebrate what all indicators suggest will be a bright future for the college and seminary.
